Inspired by French artist Claude Monet, explore impressionist painting techniques using acrylic on canvas. We will be looking in particular at movement and light and learning tricks for creating depth in the landscape.

Design and create an enchanting pixie house using hand-building techniques with terracotta clay. Experiment with mark-making and impressions on the clay surface. The pieces will be fired and ready for collection in Term One.

In this landscape workshop we will be exploring the swirling lines and bright colours of Canadian artist Ted Harrison. Students will be learning about techniques with watercolour resist and creating a landscape painting of their own.

Create a fabulous, colourful, collage dragon just in time for the Chinese New Year. We will be exploring the origin and meaning of the dragon in Chinese culture and learning drawing tricks and techniques to draw amazing dragons.
